@SylentMayhem Medieval peasants could reason with more complexity than this. "me tired after trip but astronauts happy after getting back from space? hmm me no believe that" And you think this makes you sound smart.

I take a 10 hour, 800 mile trip up the coast and back and I'm absolutely freaking exhausted for 2 days, but these people just took a damn near 700,000 mile, 10-day trip "around the moon", slammed back into earth at over 25,000 mph, through a 5,000 degree furnace and they look and act like they just came back from a freaking vacation holding a stuffed toy named "ZGI". ...but I'm the crazy one if I don't believe. Yeah, ok. 🤪

@MichaelCal3302 I'm kind of not amused by this any more so I'll stop here and give you the last word. Which I can tell from your bio is something that is very important to you.

@MichaelCal3302 I mean come on you started this by being like "erm what about distances between atoms"? Like you weren't just being obtuse for the sake of being obtuse.

@MichaelCal3302 It's about whether you become culpable for the death of the person on the switched to track by taking action vs not taking action. But maybe you've been put into a rigged trolley problem. We can't know for sure. I suppose you should refuse to do anything just in case.

@vibeslytics Do you even know the actual trolley problem or just shitty twitter versions of it? Do you understand the Reason it was even asked?

@MichaelCal3302 This could be a rigged trolley problem. Are you sure you can make such assumptions? You just saved Hitler.

@vibeslytics The basics of the trolley problems are you Don't know anything about the people but their superficial details, not their life story, history or future. Only that your action or inaction will be the only thing determining who lives or dies.

@MichaelCal3302 "erm what kind of people are on the track?" is exactly the wrong way to engage with a trolley problem and shows you've totally missed the point of the thought experiment.

@MichaelCal3302 No wrong. You're doing it again. The hypothetical is what is stated. If you were meant to know more it would have been said. You're violating the spirit of the hypothetical.

@MichaelCal3302 Hypothetical: There is a man sitting next to you in the waiting room of the dentist. He turns and strikes up a conversation. Do you engage in conversation with him?

@vibeslytics Sure sure, I am the one stupid. Keep repeating that to yourself Honestly, I find your inability to understand the complexities of the English language laughable. And your attempts to swear it was all only best cases childish.

@MichaelCal3302 You can be content with being the most annoying guy in the room too because you don't understand the spirit of hypotheticals. I assume that's why you're projecting so hard in your bio.

@vibeslytics You can believe you are right without being so desperate to prove me wrong, which you never got close to doing. I am content with my answer if 'not enough data to be worth my life even if I can solve the basic trig equation it implies is all that is needed'

@MichaelCal3302 Every trolley problem becomes unanswerable because who knows if the lever is rigged. Who knows if there's a cop just out of frame ready to arrest you for pulling it. Who knows if one of the people you save is actually evil.

@MichaelCal3302 You are just being stupid if you think the condensed twitter hypothetical is missing details specifically to trick you. You could refuse to engage with 99.9% of such hypotheticals based on that logic.

@MichaelCal3302 The point which you've missed the entire time is that there are never any guarantees in hypotheticals. You can go on forever poking holes in it in some way or another. It costs nothing to engage in good faith. My "100% guarantee" hypothetical could STILL be a trick.

@vibeslytics You mean like me KNOWING the data you claim is there? Yes, because that is how humans work. Without knowing something, it is stupid to assume best case in such a thing. But if told it was such, that is different. Basic thinking 101

@MichaelCal3302 No you added on a bunch of qualifiers in order to pad the blow to your ego because you're incapable of just saying "yes I would accept". That was always the hypothetical. Everyone else got that. I just made it more clear for very slow people who didn't get it.

@vibeslytics Yes, if everything is in the up and up and all data needed is given without any lawyering in it, then it is a good deal. So I would take THAT deal assuming I knew all that But that wasn't the hypothetical, you Changed it.

@MichaelCal3302 I read it. Any answer other than "yes I would accept" is just you being stupid as usual. Crying and flailing about how my hypothetical is trying to trap you by asking you if you want free guaranteed money.

@MichaelCal3302 All you can do is dig in further to this hole you've dug because you know giving the obvious answer to my question would hurt you too much. A common mistake for fake smart guys who bit off more than they can chew.

@MichaelCal3302 Saying no is you opting out because it's an utterly retarded answer. You won't say yes because your ego is so invested in this that you think it will vindicate me. You're making excuses to keep doing this because it'll bruise your ego otherwise.

@MichaelCal3302 It's not rigged. Getting the box is as easy as being able to do math exactly as it appears. There are no tricks whatsoever in any way. The distance mechanic will lead you to the box within the inch. This is all 100% at face value. Do you accept?

@MichaelCal3302 See you literally cannot answer a hypothetical without giving into this compulsion to be smarter than the question. You cannot help yourself. It doesn't matter how much clarification I add on. You will always do this.
