Poppy was rescued from the streets while heavily pregnant. That same night, she gave birth to her babies and couldn’t stop cuddling and kissing them. The moment she hugged her new person right after rescue is incredibly heart-melting! 💖✨

She treated the stray dog with such tenderness, as if it were a little soul truly deserving of love and care. Sometimes, a simple act of kindness is enough to warm a lonely and wounded heart. In the tiny Alaskan town of Whittier, most of the population lives inside a single 14-story building called Begich Towers. Built originally as a military facility, the structure now functions like a vertical town, containing apartments, a post office, grocery store, laundromat, church, and even indoor access to the local school through a tunnel. Surrounded by mountains and harsh winter weather, this unusual setup helps residents stay connected and sheltered year-round, earning Whittier the nickname “the town under one roof.”

On October 25, 2018, Meenakshi Moorthy, 30, and her husband, Vishnu Viswanath, 29, were visiting Yosemite National Park in California. The couple, originally from India and known for their travel content, often documented scenic locations. That day, they were near Taft Point, a popular overlook situated on a cliff with no guardrails, overlooking a precipice that dropped steeply down into the valley. Later, some visitors reported seeing the couple near the edge, apparently preparing to take photos. At some point, both fell off the cliff. Their bodies were located on a steep rock face below, and rescue teams used ropes to reach the area due to the difficult terrain. Personal belongings, including their photography equipment, were found near the edge of the overlook. Authorities determined that the incident was accidental, with no evidence of foul play. In their previous social media posts, they had occasionally referred to the risks associated with capturing spectacular photos, and the case subsequently became part of broader discussions about safety at high-risk scenic locations.

That night, the first thing we saw was a cat named Mali, then its owner. A 19-year-old boy was coming down the road that night; it was slippery because of the rain, and because of that, he had an accident where his car went off the road into the jungle, and due to the trees, no one noticed him. Owen was badly injured and was cold all night. His family searched for him the whole night, but they couldn't find any trace, and the next morning their orange cat, Bishop, was not at home. As a truck driver was going down the road, he saw a cat sitting on the car, so he went down, and when he got close, he heard Owen's faint voice. The most emotional part was that Bishop traveled 11 miles all night to reach his owner, Owen, and stayed on top of his car until help arrived. The vet reported that the cat's paws were also injured. Owen's mother said that they had searched for their son for 14 hours, and this cat never left him even for a minute. Animals only understand love.

I always feed strays & have noticed a cat using his paw to drink from a bottle & stepped in to help him. Strays live with a loneliness many overlook. Thanks to everyone who chooses kindness.
