Yesterday, I got to deliver my 100th baby of residency! These past 6 months have been EXHAUSTING, but I have learned so much and seen so much growth in myself ❤️

Getting paged at 2 am when your baby is already not sleeping because they couldn’t bother to check who was actually on call

Being at a program where EVERYONE embraces the culture of education is amazing

To the medical student that will be in my team on Monday: I need your help lol

Monday is my first clinical day as a DOCTOR!!! (And Tuesday is my first OR day as a surgeon!!!)

9 weeks postpartum and finally feeling back to myself after a cross country move and the new stressors of homeownership! Hoping to ring in residency with fitness and focus on my health; started off right with my first peloton ride today!

My baby starts daycare on Monday and I just cried in the parking lot!!!

I finally understand why moms are awake hours before everyone else. This is peace

I feel so bad for my husband who will be our son’s primary caretaker once I start residency because no one thought men’s rooms should have changing tables

My husband put on one of my shirts and my clingy baby finally let me give him up!!

We did it!!

My baby let me put him down for a non-contact nap for the first time in 4 days and I have to spend this break packing 😭

The combination of my baby’s acne and receding hairline gives me so much life in these sleep deprived nights

Being a new mom is so stressful!! My google search history is pretty much: “what does a sunken fontanelle look like”, “normal breast milk poop”, “does my baby sleep too much”, “why won’t my baby sleep”, “signs of [insert rare problem here]”

Heading home for the weekend so the extended fam can meet the baby and I can have primanti bros one last time before heading to Texas !
