But in truth, voting patterns are far more nuanced because people are far more complex. There are no such things as a "Sinhalese voter" or a "Muslim voter" or a "Tamil voter". Unless, of course, your goal is purely to highlight this single difference between these groups, at the expense of all similarities and other differences.
