@EconstratPB Yes a new, different deal every half hour. If this nonsense keeps going we are probably getting closer to the Gulf countries making a deal with Iran and telling the US to take a hike.

@GermanBiotech Interesting. But look at abstract for SSGJ 707 that Pfizer in-licensed. ORR 68% as monotherapy. Caveat of course Chinese data but still impressive.

@FinEconGlobal @eveningdoji Probably that is an issue, especially with more esoteric data. I asked it to provide the source for all the data so I could check it. All was accurate. I am sure the models will get better over time.

@FinEconGlobal @eveningdoji Yes agreed won’t completely obsolete it but I was impressed how the model I used for the pitch deck took the theme, went and found relevant data, integrated it while providing the references and even threw in ideas and concepts that I hadn’t even thought of that were useful.

@FinEconGlobal @eveningdoji That’s a position that will get obsoleted by Ai or at least will change drastically with many fewer analysts needed. I cranked out a pitch deck last week in 10min. Sure I needed to modify a few things but first cut was 85% of the way there.

@CloisterRes Doing work on it now. Question is can they partner their clinical assets? Malt1 maybe given responses seen, Wee1 prob not. Will tox predictive software takeoff? There is a chance. Not sure about new Ai agentic product Bunsen. They need a way to get better royalties on products.

$SDGR kind of a weird company, but trading at 4x sales? Not sure if there's a real value case here that can have high conviction in, but intrigued by the idea that they are kind of an underappreciated AI play in biotech (one that is actually real...). Anyone follow?

@Sanctuary_Bio Interesting, a big bet. Haven’t seen the data yet but the early data must be showing something special, or it’s just a bad bet by UCB. Can they keep the efficacy and get a safety profile closer to the CD19 bispecs? If this needs to be dosed inpatient it’s more of a niche tx.

@Jpath5211591 @A_May_MD Yes bispecifics can have their issues but developing an antibody combo is no walk in the park. Theoretically you could combine all kinds of cytokine blockers into a cocktail drug to boost efficacy but no one does that. Why?

@A_May_MD @viewfromahill9 Good point about developing extended versions, but bi-specific antibodies have potential problems: steric hindrance, more auto0antibody effect, and far less flexibility with dosing each component. This market is big enough for ORKA, SYRE and APGE to be successful.

$ABBV confirming this morning they are taking forward their extended half life IL23. Sorry $ORKA. There’s yet another competitor for you. Oh, and $SYRE…. $ABBV also has an extended half life BISPECIFIC antibody for both IL23 and TL1A. $SYRE has both of those programs individually…their plan is to give 2 separate drugs together. $ABBV already has it as one drug. This makes a *huge* difference in the clinical trial cost and speed, because $SYRE is going to have to run insanely expensive trials with multiple different combo arms (FDA requiring this). $ABBV will breeze right through and with much less expense. See $JNJ’s P2 UC study enrolling 600 patients (!!!!!!) with 1:2:2:2:2:2 randomization (no, I’m not making a joke - 1:2:2:2:2:2). Good luck $SYRE. Better raise a few billion more. Going to be a long haul just to compete against a bunch of generics and branded extended half life bispecs antibodies to boot! “But $SYRE has a4b7 too!!!” Clearly these pharmas aren’t bothered by making these extended half life antibodies themselves. Why pay a premium (maybe $12B??) on top of the current $8B price tag today for an early stage asset? Again, this thing is open label P2a stage……. We got extended half life antibodies at home. Pop the bubble.

@A_May_MD Yeah XNCR developed their own product with their own technology. Didn’t inlicense from Paragon so they aren’t cool enough.

@viewfromahill9 Yep those 1:2:2:2:2:2 trials are going to be an absolute bitch. $XNCR not even a billion. Not part of the YTE cabal, so there you go. Efficient markets!

@A_May_MD Will be a tricky clinical path as you will have to do a factoral study to justify how much of each antibody to use. Also Xencor has a extended TLA1/IL23 bispecific going into p1.
