This is perhaps the dumbest review I've ever read, and is also the reason why you should trust people who play games rather than the trash that spend 10 minutes with a dev account to run a review through AI. In PC Gamer's review of Arknights Endfield, they state: "The chokehold Genshin Impact has on the genre is so obvious that anytime a new one shows up at The Game Awards I force my friends to guess if Hoyoverse made it or not. I've played a lot of them and I can barely tell anymore." You heard that right. Arknights Endfield looks like Genshin Impact. So does Silver Palace. And Ananta. And Neverness to Everness. And Azur Promilia. This reviewer can barely tell the difference. Probably shouldn't review games if that's the case. He also states "most of the copycats don't have anything else going on." He then goes on to state: "I'm disappointed when Endfield interrupts it to make me play more of its sad sci-fi Genshin Impact-style adventure with characters that make me want to turn the sound off." A "sad sci-fi Genshin Impact." LOL. WTF? This is hilariously dumb. Next: "I'd forgive Endfield for borrowing so much from Genshin Impact." Arknights Endfield borrows more from Xenoblade Chronicles than it does Genshin Impact. Just because it has Anime graphics doesn't make it "Genshin Impact," my guy. He does have a point about the tutorials though. Zenless Zone Zero and Genshin Impact's character designs and animations are more fun and expressive than a lot of action games." He states HSR is an excellent game with a sharp sense of humor - that's fine. I can understand that. ZZZ and Genshin have character designs and animations that are more fun and expressive than a lot of action games. WHAT? GENUINELY, WHAT? ZZZ has great animations and expressions, yeah. It's pretty widespread knowledge that ZZZ and Wuthering Waves are the new benchmark for expressive and emotive characters in Gacha. But Genshin Impact having better character designs and animations than games like Black Myth Wukong? Where Winds Meet? Elden Ring? WTF IS THIS GUY SMOKING MAN. HoYo's games are good games.
