so i completed reading the yolov1 paper the major thing that YOLO preaches is treating object detection as a regression task rather than a classification task. this makes YOLO very fast compared to other algorithms that existed at that time you input the image and the output you get is fixed set of numbers . For each gird cell is predicts : - bounding box coordinates - class probability - objectness score very fun and interesting read in my opinion, implementing it in pytorch today
