This girl came to my house last night after eid she said she wanna pay me a visit band give me gifts for eid we discussed we talked watched movie together, and I was tired and avoided to sleep then she made a statement “ARE WE NOT GOING TO F*Ck” I was really tired the worst part

this is so real and i learned it the hard way. after my breakup i thought the best way to heal was to just move on, find someone new, keep myself busy. so i did. dated a girl for 2 months. good girl, nothing wrong with her, but somewhere in the middle of it i realized i was just going through the motions. ended it. then i tried again. another girl, 3 months this time. again, she was great. but i still couldn't feel what i used to feel for my ex. that same warmth, that same connection, it just wasn't there. and it hit me i wasn't healing, i was just distracting myself. those girls deserved someone who was fully there and i couldn't give them that because my heart was still somewhere else. some people you can't just replace. some love sits with you whether you want it to or not. i should've just been still. should've let myself grieve properly instead of dragging people into my incomplete healing. lesson learned the painful way.
