I don't think the Wentz signing has impact on McCarthy's roster status. I think the Vikings just don't want Brosmer to see the field in 2026. I believe Murray is the starter and it's an open competition for QB2 JMO

The #Vikings could just wait until next season to trade Greenard. Next year is when they would need to potentially pony up the 5th year option for Addison & re-sign Murray. No need to do it this year. If Greenard rebounds & has a 10 plus sack season his value could increase

@TPPSkol He played pretty well when healthy (vs Bengals, Steelers & Browns) His arm was falling off towards the end of Philly game and in the Chargers game.

@vikingsspin He’s the most overrated prospect in a while. He’s good don’t get me wrong but he didn’t do anything crazy at notre dame and his film doesn’t jump off the screen. He would be a second round round talent in last years draft tbh

I would do it because I believe he's the best player in the draft and is in the Bijan/Saquan level of impact which is not your typical RB. His pass receiving skills are off the charts But I have my doubts that he makes it past pick #5 let alone making it out of the Top 10.

@bryan_vossen Looking at the cap next year and factoring in extensions for Addison, Murray, O'Neill and Redmond that could be difficult. Not impossible but it would be razor thin

@vikingsspin Or better yet just give him an extension next offseason. Gink is a free agent after this year and Greenard is younger.

@fosho222 I would be cool with that. A minor restructure with incentives to give him a bit more 💰 this year and let's re-visit a trade next off-season.
