I had a brilliant session with Mountain Ash Comprehensive’s School Senedd last week as part of the @PoliticsProject’s Digital Dialogue scheme. The students were really engaged and passionate with lots of ideas, and I can’t wait to catch up with them again in the autumn.

I was out in Penywaun on Saturday talking to local residents along with @GeraldJonesLAB, Cllr Louisa Addiscott and the Labour team. Thanks to everyone who took the time to speak to us.

On Friday I had a really positive meeting with @GarethJ12808478 to discuss mental health and wellbeing for young people. Gareth is a real advocate for the importance of good mental – and physical – health.

It’s #CareHomeOpenWeek, so I visited Aberpennar Court in Mountain Ash to chat to residents and staff. The home has been named as a 'Top Rated Care Home in Wales' due to the warm and welcoming home environment. I also enjoyed our singalong to live music in the sunshine 🥰🎼🌞
