HEAR ME OUT this backfires because he is in denial about having feelings for Dunk and tells the man that what's between them is just sex which Dunk having no other option accepts. Then, despite Aerion's reassurement how he can't get pregnant, he suddenly starts having symptoms...

He’s not usually a violent person but come on, he was planning to MARRY Aerion, and it’s not like it was a secret they were together. He slows down when the guy’s yelling with a broken nose about how “the bitch lied” and “was just trying to cover his own ass by calling it rape”

@merryWin3 Not exactly lol they were involved with each other while married to dyanna and jena but those two knew about it and were also a thing (matarys was their son and actually older than aerion here)

Good question lol in this au the parents were kind of a quad thing? Wife swap? It goes Baelor + Jena = Valarr Baelor + Maekar = Aerion Dyanna + Maekar = Daeron, Aemon, Daella, Aegon, Rhae Dyanna + Jena = Matarys (There is some actual plot reasoning for those combos I promise)

@vikmaxing not only does it cause a rift with both of them while he’s freshly postpartum, but he grows paranoid and has a hard time trusting anyone else to take care of the baby after learning that. even worse if he nearly hurts the baby himself in an accident due to his exhaustion

Aerion being enraged to find out after his first child was born that his father had told the maesters to “remove the babe in pieces” instead of gutting him if it got stuck. Even more angry to find out that Dunk knew and said nothing, not even in argument
