A new event for 2023 was at Ushaw Historic House, Chapels & Gardens. The weekend included acting scenes of a king's hall, missiles displays and the reenactment of the Battle of Brunanburh. We look forward to going back to @ushawdurham next year, and hope you will join us!

The Village community of the Vikings, single-storey frame wooden houses thatched with reeds. When the Vikings went “on tour” they used wooden framed tents. In our camps you see wide, striped sails under which we craft, repair kit, cook meals and gather for songs and sagas.
