Last night was pretty awesome. I was watching the Pens game on my phone with my son while in lines for rides at Disney. Got on the shuttle back to the hotel right when the 3rd period started. We were glued to the screen the whole way back. Got to the hotel drop off with a few minutes left in the game. He agreed, it was too intense to walk and watch. So we sat there quietly on a bench outside the hotel, hanging on to every moment and eventually celebrating when the game ended. It’s fun to see his fandom grow. It was the trip of a lifetime for us all, but within that trip I had an unexpected core memory made with my son. Just us, on a bench in Florida, celebrating a Penguins playoff victory.

Vladar is kicking himself. If he just would have kicked the net off of the mooring, or threw his helmet off the game stays 2-2.

Perhaps this is a hot take, but I’m firing it off anyway. I thought Solo was playing so well leading up to the postseason that he should’ve been in at the start of it and his performance tonight, despite that blunder, has been very good. He is just so calm under pressure.

@markhagelauer @frazmoney93 It’s not that. ANY team wanting a WR could have jumped the Steelers. Not just the Eagles. Swapping picks probably only costs them the higher 4th to lock it in. Total fail.

Sounds like Khan got conned. If you really wanted Lemon and he’s sitting there one pick away you give up an asset to lock it in and don’t risk it. The fact they had him on the phone and lost him, with the draft in Pgh, while sitting on 12 picks is an embarrassment.

@PenguinsJesus @frazmoney93 Letang is not buyout proof. They can, there would just be no cap relief it’s baked in the books as a 35+. He cannot be waived however.
