🚨 JUST IN: Victor Osimhen, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Ademola Lookman and other Super Eagles players are unhappy after returning to Nigeria. Sources say that after their last AFCON game against Egypt, the team gave about $750,000 (₦1.2 billion) to the state government to help renovate Godswill Akpabio International Stadium. The money was meant to fix things like LED advertising boards, scoreboard, floodlights, dressing rooms, and the pitch. However, the players were disappointed because these upgrades have not started over the past few months.

Chelsea are preparing a ‘huge’ offer to sign AC Milan’s best and most consistent defender in Serbian giant Strahinja Pavlovic. The London team are ready for a new revolution next season and will be willing to submit a €40million offer to convince the Rossoneri. (calciomercato)

It is quite saddening to learn that after months of waiting and hoping, FIFA didn’t dismiss our petition against DR Congo because we lacked a case, but because we failed to do the basic things, file on time and pay the required fees. FIFA could not even dignify us with a formal response, but reportedly had to notify the NFF via phone. That alone tells you everything about how seriously our case was taken. Now the NFF has to appeal at CAS, which is very unlikely to entertain a case that was thrown out on procedural grounds. We may have already lost this case, not in the courtroom, but in an office where someone didn’t do a job properly💔🇳🇬

@Mimi_yakigar to comment on that downward spiral. Let’s just say there might be 10,000 people still cut throat about his views/personality. But, If this was Atiku he would have given up on his political the primaries. Maybe this is a funding mechanism too. The paper must stack up.

They said I should be objective and stop sounding partisan, so I decided to become analytical. Sowore got 33,953 votes in 2019 and 14,608 in 2023. Mathematicians in the house, please apply simple linear projection and help us find X for 2027. Because at this rate, this graph is moving like it wants to enter debt.

In November 2024, when Frank Lampard arrived, Coventry City were sitting dangerously close to the relegation zone in the Championship. By 2025, he had already transformed the team—guiding them into the top 5 and into the promotion playoffs. Now, in 2026, they sit 1st in the Championship, holding a 9-point lead with 7 matches remaining. Lamps is on the verge of returning to the Premier League. And he could do it with a club that hasn’t played in the top flight for 25 years.

Cesc Fabregas is the only man who is capable of transforming Chelsea inside out, in every aspect. From uniting the fanbase to having an impact on the model via his top talent ID, his former coaches. Has every intangible and tangible thing you want, but unfortunately our project is not appealing.

I will never forget that this owners bought 80% players that never improve the present team and fringed at best. The only winger w/ Man U link was Mason Greenwood. Olise >> Neto Oshimen >> Delap ? > Gitten/Garna This is why PSG project supersede ours. Young and experienced

Boehly is one of the few people that can save Chelsea, fell out with Clearlake, didn't agree with their model. As interim director, Sterling, Raphinha, Koulibaly, Cucurella, Aubameyang, he went for real experience. Not Sarr, Garnacho, Delap.

You tell some Chelsea fans to forget about sacking the manager and focus on the main issue, they will insult you. Then when the manager is gone and the problem gets worse, you remind them, they will insult you even more. A coach isn't the a-z in football. The earlier people realise that the better. Let me use this analogy. If you take a regular car to the F1 race track and give it to the best F1 driver ever, can he compete with the worse F1 driver who is driving a F1 car? No. Coaches are like drivers. They need their cars built to suit their purpose. They can't perform magic when you give them bad cars or cars that aren't built for their purpose.

@FrankKhalidUK I lost it when they refused to get Olise & Victor Oshimen. When you have good szn the fair thing is to reinvest a little in top quality players to improve your team quality wise. LW, RW MF, CB and GK. Where begging for improvement. But they messed it all up. Now we can’t compete

@Blue_Footy 4yrs and now +200 in losses. we were found out. Yes, Roman model needed adjustment but that’s the CFC way. Roman model made us attractive to elite players, to investors but the CL model make our books better only. Sustainaable? Time will tell.

🚨Chelsea are entering a decisive phase of the season, with growing concern internally that failure to secure a top-four finish could trigger major consequences both on the pitch and on the touchline. Senior figures at Chelsea F.C. reportedly believe qualification for the UEFA Champions League is non-negotiable this season. Champions League football is seen as critical not only for finances but also for maintaining the long-term sporting project built around a young squad. There is a genuine fear within the club hierarchy that missing out on the top four could make it significantly harder to keep several key players satisfied. Champions League football remains a major expectation for elite talent, and sources suggest the club are wary of potential interest from rival European sides if that objective is not met. The pressure also extends to the dugout. Head coach Liam Rosenior is understood to be under close evaluation heading into the final stretch of the campaign. While the club continue to publicly back the manager, internally the expectation is clear: a top-four finish is the benchmark. Should Chelsea fall short of that target, the club’s ownership group led by Todd Boehly and the Clearlake consortium are expected to review Rosenior’s position at the end of the season before making a final decision on whether he remains in charge for the next campaign. With the season approaching its final months, the message inside Stamford Bridge is simple: Champions League qualification is mandatory both to stabilise the project and to avoid difficult decisions this summer.
