On 23rd September 2025, at CSIR-NCL Pune, the introductory workshop on “Setting up and Running an In-house Patent Cell” was successfully conducted, organised by the NCL-IP Group in association with the Office of PSA & BIRAC. The workshop witnessed the Keynote Address by Dr. Jitendra Kumar, MD BIRAC. In his address, he highlighted BIRAC’s pivotal role in supporting innovators across startups, academic institutions, and public research organisations through funding, mentorship, and incubation facilities. He emphasised the strategic contribution of the BIRAC IP Cell, which provides mentoring, advisory support, and financial assistance for patent protection, enabling BIRAC beneficiaries to bring their innovations closer to commercialisation. He strongly highlighted the need for establishing in-house IP cells, describing them as a critical mechanism for providing structured and specialised support to innovators. He shared that over 1000 IPs have been generated by BIRAC beneficiaries, with five technologies successfully transferred, showcasing the tangible outcomes of a robust IP ecosystem. He further reinforced the importance of synergy between incubation centres and IP cells, underlining that collaborative efforts are key to nurturing innovations effectively and accelerating their translation to the market.

There is termoil in the jewel of Noida,sector 75. There is abrupt power cuts . Appliances are failing. Residents life is in termoil. I request authorities to take cognizance of the matter and initiate an audit of its electricity load and all other things.

Not only roads, lot of cars are also parked roadside. It has become so inconvenient to walk or drive.
