i think once you’ve seen just the sheer amount of women stepping out from the splatoon community to say they’ve been harassed and literally groomed you know something’s wrong and it’s nottt just another “fandom always have bad apples” thing.

being a woman in comp splatoon community is the worst thing imaginable and feels like it’s worse than death sometimes. so much harassment that we face and yet all of it gets pushed aside because the scene is supposedly super “welcoming.” why doesn’t it ever feel like it?
