Hi @TeamYouTube, I’m writing this as a last resort. I am a certified Medical Doctor with a 3D animation team, 170k subs, and since May 9th, my channel feels technically suppressed.
My latest 5 Shorts have elite metrics, but they aren't reaching non-subscribers at all. (1/4)

@vinny_hkr @TeamYouTube I didn’t upload. Because my old shorts are still in the dark, 6-7 views. While my average before 9th of May was 10k per hour, so I know its still not fixed :(( . I will follow u, lets talk in dm

@TeamYouTube Has the "Issue with Shorts and Homepage recommendations" issue been fixed? I dont see it in the studio anymore but my shorts are still dead? (my average is 20,000 views per hour) but right now its still stuck on barely 100 an hour

@vinny_hkr @TeamYouTube Same issue, they updated that its fixed, but as of this moment, the issue persists. Real time views for shorts is 6-7 views per hour. My average is 10k-20k per hour. Has it been fixed for u?

@TeamYouTube I saw the update on the thread that the issue with shorts is fixed now, but my channel is still the same, 2-3 views per hour on real time for shorts, I used to get 10k VPH before 9th of May. My most recent short is stuck on 0 views even after multiple hours.

@TeamYouTube Your team updated that the issue with homepage and shorts feed has been fixed but my old shorts which were starting to climb (at one point it hit 8,000 views per hour) has completely stalemated and is still continuing to stalemate. Can you provide insight?

@d0cttor @TeamYouTube Mine is fixed yes, before today I would only get 1-3 views in the first hour. The one I just uploaded is currently at 400 views in the first 20 minutes. (Mine is a new channel)

🚨 URGENT UPDATE FOR CREATORS & VTUBERS 🚨 Team YouTube has officially acknowledged an ongoing issue affecting Shorts and Homepage recommendations. My advice: DO NOT hit publish right now. If you post while the recommendation system is bugged, your content won't be pushed out properly to the Shorts feed or your audience's homepages. You will lose that crucial initial momentum, which can completely tank your video's reach and ruin the optimization work you've put into it. Hold onto your drafts and pause any scheduled posts until this is completely resolved. I’ll keep an eye on the thread and let you know when it’s safe to upload again.

Anyone understand these random swings in views on my shorts/tiktoks?
I get this on both platforms, I usually average a few hundred views maybe a thousand sometimes more on TIktok but I'll regularly get videos that the algo seems to not even push to followers let alone slewhere. Like I'll post and get a short with 19 views.
I'm just not understanding if I'm doing something specifically wrong with these? When I look at other similar accounts their views seem way more consistent unless maybe they are deleting the low view ones, is that a strategy??
