@Raf_Epstein $5,000 per person is not enough. Their actions are literally breaking people's lives. People with less money and privilege and who have been trying to do the right thing.

On the engagement party - each person gets a fine
“It is five and a half thousand dollars, if you take off a few for each child, over $350,000 worth of fines. An expensive engagement party,”
@dudekrulz I agree. $5,000 per person (if, indeed it ends up being enforced) is a drop in the ocean for this crowd. Should be a % of net worth or income.
Studying to be a lawyer, Dad's a psychologist. They can afford fines. A ton of community service hours would be far better. Cancelling activities they want to do to service them, like they did to the community and you can't get out of it as easily #engagementparty
@jenny_sinclair I wondered that too. What gets me is the incredible level of arrogance and smugness that you would even risk filming it in the first place.
Keep wondering about the person who filmed the #engagementparty video - unless it was taken from their phone, they leaked it. The conversations after that will make The Slap look like an illegal walk in the park.
@hmlgreener They behaved in such an arrogant, smug and selfish manner - that I feel physically ill when I think about it. The doctors need to be named and shamed and struck off.
How can registered doctors attend an illegal party, laughing while doing so, in defiance of public health orders, putting an entire community and state at risk and not be struck off? #engagementparty
