I am still very confused about them--I don't truly understand how someone would feel powerful telling someone to die. I can only say that they feel some sort of power. Though maybe it's the attempt to gain power that fulfills them. Like Camus' interpretation of sisyphus' plight

As always, the real motivator is superiority and power: by taking the majority moral stance, they gain easy moral superiority which gives many social points, and then by harassing kids who just want to live their life they get to feel some sort of power over them.

The way pedophilia is demonised has always confused me, because posting for their friends to see that they're protecting kids from evil adults while also telling minors who don't immediately bow to their whims to die tells how much they really want to protect children.

Raising kids feels like a game of passing down all your bad traits and seeing how they manage because you refuse to allow more adults and kids in their home/communal life that they could rely on in ways that you couldn’t provide for them.

Well im sorry y'all got groomed, I really am, nobody deserves to be groomed but that's not what's happening here? I appreciate the concern (really, I do) but telling me im being groomed and saying our age gap is pedophilia isn't really gna convince me of anything

the reason men despise pedophiles so much is projection when they think of one they think of a man treating a child the way they treat the adult women in their lives, they cannot conceptualise of a sexuality or love beyond their degrading and objectification

Therapy for ASD people is purely for anxiety, depression etc. and some stuff for teaching behaviours, otherwise only accommodations can be made. Many old people are also immature yet they can consent? Maturity is from quality of experience not quantity

It's sad seeing some people try make others retroactively think their relationship was something harmful when it wasn't. Memories should be treasured, and I pray that others may be as resilient as you and hold out until finding reassurance, cause good community is hard to come by

@violetdiscuss I did that for years but knowledge doesn't really move people. I learned that the hard way. Share the knowledge with those who are willing to listen. Most arguments on this app are not worth your time. It's also okay to express an opinion and leave it at that, really.

If my post keeps up this pace I may private purely because I need time to read and research and for leisure, and it is hard to do so when under the watchful eye of the mainstream, despite bringing these politics to more people being my main goal with this account.

I hope you are at least able to understand now in your life that it is nothing to be ashamed of. It must be so hard to have such a normal part of development looked at as something unsightly. Just make sure you know it isn't anything bad. It's an amazing part of our bodies

@Maudelyzia Thanks! I do think a lot of my arguing was fruitless, though it is a fun exercise. I am still new so my current knowledge base is one study and one book yet such little evidence is still pretty strong I find. Can't wait to read more. (less to argue and more to learn though, ofc)
