To enforce the point of health & fitness amongst corporate executives in India who possibly lead very stressful but sedentary lifestyles I ran the @TuffmanIndia #Gurgaon #HalfMarathon today in corporate attire. Wore a formal shirt trousers & tie. The trigger for me to do this was a young colleagues brother who went to drop his daughter for school collapsed while walking and died of heart failure leaving the family devastated…when my colleague returned to work a few days later as a precaution I asked him to get a health check up…two of his arteries were found with 90 % & 95 % blockage immediate hospitalisation & two stents later he is back home. How many such time bombs are ticking amongst us all ?
