The Core Strength Targeted Loot issue has been fixed. It will now drop in Prototype Quality as expected in future Escalation Targeted Loot rotations. As compensation, log in from May 12 to May 26 to receive a one-time grant of 3 Prototype Core Caches.

The maintenance has been completed! Based on the feedback gathered since the release, we increased Prototype Gear drop rates last week, and those improvements remain active. We’ll continue monitoring community feedback as we keep iterating on the feature. To clarify yesterday’s messaging, Prototype Gear dropping from loot crates referred only to loot crates within Escalation missions. Prototype Gear in Escalation is intended to primarily come from defeating NPCs and completing the activity. Cherry Blossom Gear Caches remain unchanged and still have a chance to drop Prototype Gear as originally designed.

Fixes: improving overall Event Key drop rates, adding guaranteed Keys from Fox and Red Ronin, and removing Prototype Gear drops from loot crates, as these were not intended.

@TheDivisionGame Should it be reported as a bug because the drop rate of the event keys are pathetic. Out of 4 encounters there was only 1 key dropped and it took over 15 minutes. It is a very very slow grind which you devs said has already improved????? No way.

To clarify the message above: the unintended behavior was Prototype Gear dropping from loot crates in Escalation missions. The Cherry Blossom Gear Cache will continue to have a chance to drop Prototype Gear, as originally designed. We’ll let you know once maintenance is complete.

@TheDivisionGame I bet you devs seldom grind to expertise 30. And you expect the players to grind even harder with this prototype gear. The grind and resource requirement and the prototype core drop is 10 times more difficult. You devs do not play the game.
