The real emerging leverage is having skills in multiple domains. Developer? Getting commoditized. Developer that understands the market? Big opportunities. Pentester? Getting automated and commoditized. Pentester that can market and sell? You can take on Goliath and win.

@yacineMTB The common understanding that your corporate job is safe and running your own business is risky (bootstrapped) is going to crumble.

A Programmer's Loss of Identity: 🔗ratfactor.com/tech-nope2 “I don't belong anymore. The group I identified with valued learning. For the first time in my life, I'm suddenly wary of meeting other 'computer programmers'. There's a decent chance we won’t have much in common.”

Part 1 of Day 5 of #AdventOfCode in #factorlang This part was smooth since there is a range construct. Part2 was less so due "union" of range is not a range, but a sequence...which blows out the memory.

part 1 of day 3 of #AdventOfCode 2025, in #AWK no much to parse today, and it seemed convoluted to functionally but who knows, I still need to figure out part 2 :/

part 1 of day 2 of #AdventOfCode 2025 in #factorlang again, I enjoyed being done with the parsing in one go for part 2 I used the regex trick, with pcre bindings since normal regex didn't had group capture support :/

Happy of my "part 1" of today's #adventofcode challenge in #factorlang . I wanted to try the EBNF parser. And the solution ended up being a scan/accumulate. Part 2 throw me out of it. And I ended up copying a solution that generated the whole list of movements by 1.

been doing set 1 of the #cryptopals challenges, if I learned anything that I will take home for now is: make passwords that look like noise, so noobs like me will have a hard time finding them (thanks for not doing that btw)

Cloudflare generated many millions of HTTP 5XX responses today. They were triggered because code in a core proxy called .unwrap() on a Result for an operation that was expected to never fail.
