Running large-scale longevity experiments is not cheap. A single study with 1,000 mice costs hundreds of thousands upfront. Each mouse is a few hundred dollars before interventions even begin. Add cell and gene therapies, labor, and front-loaded damage repair, and the bill soars. Then comes years of care, followed by expensive tissue analysis to learn what really failed first. This is why funding speed matters.
