We're proud we partnered with RTL Deutschland and Grass Valley to support the 30th Spendenmarathon with a private 5G production workflow. A world's first! Two Grass Valley LDX 110 cameras, each fitted with Vislink’s INCAM‑GV 5G module, streamed live over RTL’s on‑site private 5G network. The INCAM‑GV delivered bi‑directional IP connectivity for low‑latency video, camera control, AMPP remote shading, tally and return. Because the 5G cameras behaved like wired resources in GV #AMPP, production workflows stayed seamless: no signal workarounds required. Operating on a private 5G network gave RTL predictable capacity, secure access and consistent on‑air performance throughout the long broadcast. The result: continuous, broadcast‑grade image delivery and reliable remote shading/control without interruptions. Huge credit to RTL’s engineering team for the flawless execution and trust in this new workflow. Live broadcasts leave zero room for error. The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2025, one of the world’s most recognisable live entertainment events, called for flawless, cinematic-quality wireless coverage. The production relied on the Vislink HCAM transmitters to supply uncompromised 4K images for a complex, fast-moving, multi-platform broadcast. The event drew a global audience of over five million viewers on television, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Victoria’s Secret’s full digital channels. With a 1 hour 45 minute show showcasing Missy Elliot and Madison Beer, rapid back-to-back runway sequences and concurrent digital-only content creation, reliability and image quality were non-negotiable.
