6 yrs ago today, Fiona Apple released ‘Fetch The Bolt Cutters’. A radical album full of raw production, DIY percussion, and intense but witty songwriting. it's got some of her most impactful, endearing songs and is easily one of the best records of the decade.

@visoulriseth I tend to listen to the stereo mixes on headphones and the old mixes on speakers. at the end of the day even if parts of musictwt shit on the beatles doesn't take away from the amazing things they achieved as a a band or how influential they still are

@visoulriseth definitely the latter. a lot of musictwt tends to act like enjoying one of the most popular bands ever is beneath them. for the record I love the stereo mixes since they brought out some dimensions in their albums I didn't notice before with the old mixes.
