Creator Series Episode 3 Recap Topic: Should We be versatile, or just niche down as a creator in Web3? Today’s Creator Series opened up a powerful conversation around focus, branding, patience, and positioning. @Web3_1ncognit0 shared that niching down helps creators build focus. According to him, people should be able to identify you with at least one or two clear skills. If nobody can explain what you do, it becomes harder for opportunities to find you. @WEB3HYBRID came in with a deeper angle. He explained that before you ask whether to niche down or be versatile, you must first know your why. Why are you in Web3? Why did you create your X account? What do you want people to know you for? What do you want to achieve with the effort you are putting in? That “why” is what shapes your brand strategy. It defines how you stand out, how people perceive you, what you represent, and how you stay positioned in the space. He also made an important point: Being versatile does not mean jumping on every opportunity. It means staying open to opportunities that align with your brand, your skills, and your growth direction. If you chase everything, you confuse yourself and confuse the people watching you. @The_MI_01 added a strong line: “Your why is your greatest asset, and intentionality is how you multiply it.” He spoke about the importance of getting good at what you do. Skill is what helps you command results, attract trust, and create opportunities instead of always chasing them. His point was clear: niche down or be versatile, but make sure you are doing what works for you. @RosieeDrafts shared from her own journey as a content writer. She explained how she moved into technical writing because she saw the value of entering a niche that was not overly saturated. Her advice was practical: as you come into Web3, look for a niche where you can grow faster, build authority, and still stay open to aligned opportunities around that niche. @pengpearly spoke directly to creators and newbies who feel intimidated by other people’s wins on CT. She reminded everyone that success in Web3 requires patience, mental strength, and consistency. Opportunities do not always come when you want them. They come from showing up, improving, staying visible, and giving your work time to compound. My own takeaway from the space are these: 1) You do not need to be everywhere. 2) You need to be clear. Niche down enough for people to understand you. 3) Be versatile enough to survive, adapt, and take aligned opportunities. 4) But never become so scattered that your brand loses meaning. A big appreciation to all the amazing speakers who contributed: @pengpearly, @WEB3HYBRID, @Ark100xl @duchess_debbie, @Taskkash, @Web3_1ncognit0, @RosieeDrafts, @Web3Lolah and everyone who came up to share.
