This morning, in Lagos, I met with the U.S. Consul General, Mr Rick Swart, where we discussed strengthening the bilateral relationship. We focused on promoting credible elections in Nigeria, ensuring they are free from interference, and fostering a space where all political parties, especially opposition parties can thrive, and contribute.
We also discussed trade and business opportunities between our countries. Accompanying me to the meeting was Dr Adefolaseye Adebomi Adebayo.
The discussion was very productive, and we are hopeful that, moving forward, Nigeria’s elections will be even more credible and transparent. -PO

The Obedient will cost Obi the presidency with their relentless decisions.
Peter Obi is being controlled by his supporters; he doesn’t have a say or wish except the ones his supporters have.
Atiku, on the other hand, is fully and duly in control of his supporters. He gives commands and instructions, and they abide by them.
Obi is ready to accept the VP ticket, and Atiku is ready to give it unopposed, but his supporters are not ready for the ticket.

Dear @NigeriaNDCHQ please kindly create diaspora representative offices for conclusive participation. ✌️

A Unified Message to All As you are all now aware, His Excellency Peter Obi is going to be our new presidential candidate and the face of this movement. We call on everyone to vigorously market and promote our candidate with honour and facts. We will not attack or abuse any other candidate, and we expect the same courtesy in return. If you abuse Peter Obi or attempt to tarnish his character, be ready we will respond accordingly. We prefer peace, but if it is a fight you bring, we are more than ready to meet it. To my dear Northern brothers and sisters: Do not come to my page with religious or tribal attacks. They will not work here i won't tolerate it. We who support this movement believe Nigeria belongs to everyone Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Christian, Muslim, and all others. Our strength lies in our unity, not in division. The unity of our nation is what we dream of and will continue to fight for. My reasons for supporting Peter Obi are clear: his outstanding track record as Governor of Anambra State and the positive plans he has for my region the Northern Nigeria. No one can stop or intimidate us. As true Kwankwasiyya, we do not fear challenges we welcome them as opportunities to prove our determination and strength.Peter Obi and Kwankwaso represent our new project for a New Nigeria. We will take this message to the markets, homes, chambers, streets, and every corner of this country. We will campaign with passion and sell this vision to our people. To all supporters of this movement: This is our moment to show Nigerians that love, respect, and unity can be stronger than religion or tribe. Let us promote this movement across every platform and every community. Let us grow together as one.
One Nigeria Must Be OK.

@GRVlagos In other words this means when opportunity comes, act decisively or risk losing everything.
English

@sowore @PeterObi oga, Insults don’t replace arguments.
Peter Obi’s message has stayed consistent—accountability, good governance, and people-focused leadership. What changes is not his direction, but the inability to engage his ideas.
Ultimately, Nigerians will judge on substance, not slogans.
English

Last week, @PeterObi was at an “opposition summit” in Ibadan. We said it clearly then these unprincipled drifters and their structure of criminality have nothing to offer besides empty words. But a majority of his brainwashed supporters couldn’t handle the truth.
Now @Peterobi the captain of the gravy train has moved yet again, and those who were misled will once more follow the most directionless political opportunist to ever exist in this clime. #AACOurParty

English

@NDCNigNews Then remember respect must go both ways. we Obidients focus on ideas and accountability, not bullying. Fairness is expected from all sides.
English

@MrIgwe8 @adeyanjudeji My brother, His party choices isn’t the issue—impact is.
PO joining another platform is strategy in democracy. Parties change; principles don’t. Focus on delivery, not insults.
English

@adeyanjudeji Obi is very useless and desperate.
I don’t no what is in that guy mind .

Tinubu will retire the two clowns dividing opposition next year. These clowns couldn’t put aside their differences in 2023 for the overall interest of Nigeria and still couldn’t again. The only annoyance thing is that Tinubu will deal with all of us in his 2nd term. If 1st term can be like this; how will 2nd term be?
English

@adeyanjudeji Deji, by PO standing firm on principle isn’t the problem—lack of unity and accountability across the system is. Nigeria needs credible leadership, not forced alliances built only to grab power. Nigerians must stay focused on competence over political fear.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning.
I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you.
Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances.
We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal.
More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism.
We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power.
Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise.
Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them.
However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building.
Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated.
And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions.
There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline?
Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
English

Mocking faith won’t fix Nigeria.
PO speaks to churches, mosques, and citizens becus leadership is abt engaging people, nt division. Reducin national issues to religious insults only weakens serious political discourse. Let facts, competence, & track record lead—not cheap shots.
Dr. OkaforE@DrOkaforEmmanu1
Let's know how many churches he will go this time to beg them to take back their country. Peter will always deny Jesus.
English

That claim is false.
Peter Obi renovated hundreds of schools, improved WAEC performance in Anambra, reduced state debt, and left savings.
His record is documented—“failed governor” is just emotion, not fact. Propadanist 🙄
Somto Onuchukwu@chosensomto
A failed former Governor who could not deliver one school in his state, is deceiving a few educated people who have allowed their emotions destroy their sense of reasoning.
