Bought into @169Pi_ai $PIE 350k mcap, 11h since launch 169Pi is building a serious AI stack focused on reasoning, efficiency, and long-context workflows > not just quick prompt-based chat. At the core is Alpie Core, their in-house reasoning model. A key technical focus of their work has been 4-bit quantisation, which dramatically reduces memory and inference cost while still preserving useful reasoning ability. This is a hard problem to get right, and it’s increasingly important as models scale. On top of this, they’ve very recently launched Alpie, a workspace-style product where the model is used for: •long-running research and analysis •collaboration across teams and projects •working with files and context that persist over time Instead of positioning as “another chatbot”, the emphasis here seems to be on deep work > situations where context needs to survive across hours or days, not single prompts. They’ve also made Alpie Core available via API, allowing developers to experiment directly with the model and build their own workflows on top of it. The team appears to be encouraging real usage and feedback rather than relying on claims. They started working with ISRO in August (Indian Space Research Organisation) centres, including URSC, as part of a broader initiative to advance AI systems and applied intelligence aligned with India's scientific and national missions. They have officially announced a partnership on 30 Dec 2025. Based on budget size, launch capability, number of missions, and overall impact, ISRO places 6th on space agency world ranking. AI will only get bigger, 169Pi is working with the gov > this can easily branch off into more integrations over the gov and person X knows person Y who needs 169Pi's products for his business etc. The tokens utility/possible integration is still unknow but considering the scale of this company, this doesn't seem necessary for this trade in the early stage. They did confirm there are gonna be use-cases for the token. Still early, but it’s interesting to see a team approaching AI from an infrastructure + product angle at the same time, with a strong focus on efficiency and real-world deployment. Worth keeping an eye on how this evolves.
