Please don't fall for IMAX 1.43 in Hyderabad rumors. It's impossible for new 1.43 not just in India but throughout the world. 1. Barco has stopped manufacturing new DP4K-60L projectors, which power IMAX GT screens. 2. No new IMAX 70mm projector has been manufactured since 2007. We don't have a supply chain to manufacture new ones; it has all been abandoned. 3. The only possible scenario is IMAX announcing new IMAX GT projection technology in the future. As of now, no such announcements have been made. 4. The max we can get is IMAX with CoLa laser (like in Lower Parel, Mumbai, and Saketh, Delhi), but even that is much more expensive compared to XT. It doesn't make financial sense to go for it. So there's a strong possibility of IMAX with Laser (XT 1.90)
