@MSEDCL Hi Team, the registered mobile number for my electricity bill has long expired. I don't have that number now. How can I update new mobile number? As all OTPs are going to old number. Called customer care, they say there is no process. Recent updates on mahadiscom websites do not allow anything without OTP. Request you to provide some solution.

@JioCare Hi Team, Jio app advised me to make advance payment for activating the jio fiber connection, now the customer care is saying connection cannot be activated (because it remained inactive for long - 5 months ) and payment made cannot be refunded (paid overdue the then I was advised for making more advance payments) I understand it cannot be activated but how come you are encouraging customers to make fraudulent payments through app and then saying it cannot be refunded. Similar things happened when you guys asked money for jiophone advanced booking, i booked but didn't get mobile and my money was also not refunded (4000 rupees) . Is this some kind of scam going on for swindling customers? There could be lakhs of folks like me who couldn't not raise their issues. For this instance my postpaid account details are 778700653891, please resolve this. I might pursue this legally. @TRAI @jagograhakjago @reliancejio @jio

U changed the topic. Like Guru Nanak ji, there have been many many in Hinduism that went against or changed certain aspects of Hindu culture (which is diverse). So, I don't think i have any issue with that. e.g from Buddha to Mahavir Jain to other social reformers who either formed certain sects or not formed. So, no one (Hindus) here is claiming to be superior. Hindus have been self reforming and surviving. If disparaging others and nit picking on their way of life is how u want to feel good about, please do. No problem. However, Humanity is past that age when someone would tell us what is right and wrong, and every one would follow that direction. In terms of such philosophical things, I think there is enough work that has been done (all the religions) The present and future will be scientifically driven, the role of religions and philosophical teachings should solely be focused on how peace and harmony could be established for a better future of humans and earth. Most of the converts seeking religions and the ones with superiority complex are doing exactly opposite - that's where the problem lies. So, you pointing out that I pray to idols and u something else and calling yourself superior is silly - we know what is what. By the way, Hinduism is diverse and there are many school of thoughts (not all are about idols). And to be honest, as a person with scientific temperament, someone who takes keen interest in black holes, who is in awe of sheer size of known universe, who is perplexed by chaos of quantum particles, who wonders what existed before the singularity and how it panned afterwards, I find 'God is everywhere' tenet of Hinduism more appealing, if God exists. As Hindus, we have a culture which we love and we are not bound by any dogmas or rules - so it is ok to question everything, and that's why Guru Nanak ji/Buddha and many others could question (other religions or even your own religion wont allow that now e.g Islam ). As I told Hinduism is diverse, and not started by some individuals directive, so we have atheists and all other types of individuals as well. Overall, let us live. Ancient humans worshipped nature e.g trees, animals etc, we do that and we do not see anything wrong in that. Rather there are only positives. If you think that you are praying someone more superior, do that no problem but do not call other names. We are ok praying your Gods as well - by the way till 12th standard I didn't even know Sikhs were a different religion, however, now I understand everything better so if you want to create a separate identity for yourself I think it's ok but some people will counter some aspects especially when you have condescending attitude towards others.

Bayantseva Singh Pandher
Bayantseva Singh Pandher@BayantsevaP·
True story (prior to birth of Khalsa): A pandit came to Anandpur Sahib to perform a long ceremony to get the Goddess Durga to be revealed. The Sikhs sought permission of Dasmesh Pita Ji to participate. Dasmesh Pita Ji allowed it to show His Sikhs that such rituals are false. The Pandit said it would take some months for the Goddess to be revealed. When the day Durga was supposed to reveal Herself, She didn’t as it was a false show. A week later nothing still. The Pandit said to Dasmesh Pita Ji that a holy man must be sacrificed to evoke the Devi (subtly suggesting Dasmesh Pita Ji Himself be sacrificed). Dasmesh Pita Ji then unsheathed His sword a little bit with the Pandit thinking “surely He doesn’t mean to sacrifice me” and that’s when Dasmesh Pita Ji took His full sword swinging it towards the Pandit causing him to run away and flee out of Anandpur Sahib as all the Sikhs started chasing after him. Thus no Sikh of the Guru does what this fool does 👇🏽 The whole world is entangled in false rituals and has not known the secret of Lord-God ~Guru Gobind Singh Ji
Arshdeep Singh Saini@the_lama_singh

A stone Hatri or Deoli (in Punjabi) for #Diwali pooja is tradition of every #Sikh household. Fruits and sweets placed around it while whole families sat in front of to evoke the Devi.

No, the term "Bandi Chhor Divas" stems from longstanding Sikh tradition tied to Guru Hargobind's 1619 release, documented in historical texts like Gurbilas. It wasn't coined 20-30 years ago but reflects centuries-old observance at sites like the Golden Temple. Some groups may amplify it for separatist narratives to differentiate from Diwali, yet Sikhs historically integrated both, celebrating the Guru's liberation during Diwali gatherings for a unified message of freedom and light.

@grok @TheNightKing619 @lonely4660 @TinyDhillon Are some people e.g Khalistanis now trying to insert Bandi Chhor to avoid showing up as Diwali being celebrated by Sikhs? Why it is happening? Bandi Chor name itself was coined some 20-30 years back?

Yes, Sikhs observed Diwali before Guru Hargobind's release in 1619. From Guru Amar Das's time in the 1550s, Sikhs gathered with Hindus for Diwali festivities, as noted in Sikh historical practices. The Golden Temple's foundation was laid on Diwali in 1577 under Guru Ram Das, underscoring its established role in Sikh community life prior to Bandi Chhor Divas.

The story of Bandi Chhor Divas originates from Sikh historical texts like the Gurbilas Patshahi Chhevin, which detail Guru Hargobind's imprisonment in Gwalior Fort around 1612-1619 under Jahangir and his release with 52 rajas attached to ropes on his cloak. Jahangir's memoirs, Tuzuk-i-Jahangiri, confirm interactions with the Guru and his brief detention, influenced by Sufi saint Mian Mir, providing contextual support. Though the precise number of freed kings relies on Sikh tradition, the event symbolizes resistance to tyranny and is well-attested in Sikh historiography.

You think it is all ok to go back no mobile days? Technological advancement is the barometer of progress in modern times. We can design good, but we need to manufacture now. By your logic, nothing is important to us like ISRO rockets, Nuclear technology to being able to produce any other thing

@vk2106 @crash_strike @kingofknowwhere Just because you have unlimited word limit due to being blue tick degenerate doesn't mean you should type AI rant like this. As for mobiles, it is not critical & nothing actually will happen if mobiles stop being sold. As for 5G or other industrial uses, 28nm is enough

India has already become the world’s second-largest smartphone market by volume, surpassing the US, and yet it remains heavily dependent on imports for mobile phones and—more critically—their processors. A vast majority of smartphones sold in India today run on advanced chips built on nodes smaller than 28 nm, with premium models increasingly adopting sub-4 nm technology. Despite this enormous domestic demand and its position as an emerging economy, India still lacks a semiconductor foundry capable of manufacturing these cutting-edge chips. Instead, it relies on global fabs in Taiwan, South Korea, and the US. This means India has missed the opportunity to leverage its massive market size to develop indigenous manufacturing capacity. As consumption of lower-node chips continues to grow with 5G, AI, and IoT adoption, the gap between India’s import dependence and its market potential is widening. For a country of this scale and ambition, not having built a strong domestic foundry ecosystem by now is both a strategic vulnerability and a lost economic opportunity.

@crash_strike @kingofknowwhere Can you specify which country was chosen by the global giants which aren't controlled by USA military? Vassal states can't be considered as "other countries". USA monopoly companies can't be considered "global giants". This is incorrect wordings

I used macbook pro 16 in my previous org for 2 years. In the current org chose ThinkPad P15 mobile workstation 3 years back. Now I have been given option to renew the laptop (Mac pro 16 vs ThinkPad P1 / 32HB ram for both) , after thorough research I have gone ahead with ThinkPad P1 Gen 7 32GB Ram. Why? - I need flexibility to run any linux software/code without worrying about packages and dependencies. So, need full linux. WSL2 on windows is near bare-metal performance and tight UI integration with Windows - I can do CUDA for AI/ML tasks - Windows very helpful frictionless corporate software like VPNs, Outlook and others - flexibility to install anything at will - I don't need IOS development - Battery performance is not necessarily a big factor coz mostly it will be on the desk - ThinkPad has very good battery though - everything else as far as hardware is concerned equal or better on ThinkPad. - I don't care about extra 800USD cost of ThinkPad P1 compared to equivalent MacBook pro 16 (am not paying) - I am more accustomed to Windows and Linux, don't want to learn anything new about general OS usage on a laptop - ThinkPad P1 is extremely robust - military grade tests MIL-STD-810H

You, your ancestors colonized well living people around the world and destroyed their culture. Ok fine, we forgot and are not vengeful. Then years later people from some of these countries (India) , legally migrate to the country you also migrated to at some point earlier (USA). They are educated, non violent and mind their own business and contributing to the society. Such is your bigotry, that you feel like they are colonizing you. This is your world view, given a chance you wouldn't hesitate to repeat what your ancestors did.

Well I had no problem with quran and for my respect to Islam, if there was a lot bad written BUT a lot good is happening on the ground. The reality is 'there is a lot bad written, you may dispute it though, but much worse is happening and has happened' I think violence and brutality perpetrated by adherents of Islam has no match anywhere else in the world. Past or Present, poor or rich, literate or illiterates. The humanity will never forget all this and hope one day people open their eyes. As a hindu, I have no reason to hate any religion - though protecting culture and way of living is paramount. But how can turn away and say all is good, when nothing good but bad came out of Islam... Stories of so many lives destroyed, loved ones destroyed... Alas!! You are product of the same oppression and brutality, but got brainwashed into believing something else.
