🔥🚨BREAKING: This footage of young boys being forced to dance and perform in Afghanistan for a controversial tradition called ‘Bacha Bazi’ after the dance, the boys are given to men for sexual abuse. This practice has turned into a centuries-long tradition and involves sexual abuse and slavery of young boys by older powerful men, often Pashtuns (New Line Institute, 2021). These preadolescent boys, called Bacha Bareesh or beardless boys, come from impoverished families and serve as “entertainers” to influential Afghans. Dressed as girls and wearing makeup they dance for their masters who later take them in order to get involved in a sexual relationship. This is how these boys provide for their families.

@ThrillaRilla369 @dom_lucre It is not the fault of white people that some blacks don’t feel at “ease.” Are whites now responsible for the “feelings” blacks might have?

@c1phermatrix She’s doing a fine job; I just don’t like this relationship. I wish I did b/c it kind of ruins the episodes for me trying to ignore their budding romance 🤷🏽‍♀️

Jess Bush has brought to life a Nurse Chapel that not just Spock has fallen for. Loved it when she excelled and put the cheeky Vulcan medical scientist in his place. I love this cast so much. #StrangeNewWorlds

So who likes the Spock and Chapel pairing? I just don’t. I would love to see more of him and T’Pring, or him and Uhura, or him and anyone else…I don’t know why I don’t like CC…Someone sell this ship to me…#StrangeNewWorlds

@KeithMoore514 @TerryMKage @MrAndyNgo Besides, where my daughter and son-in-law work (military) they have to surrender their phones before they go to work and walk through a metal detector. So don’t say that seizure or personal property isn’t done with notice. Only when it isn’t returned is there a problem.

@KeithMoore514 @TerryMKage @MrAndyNgo Students use their phone during class to cheat, coordinate skipping, plan fights, sell drugs, or to simply not be attention and be distracted. If they were adults on a job, we could fire them. We have a responsibility to teach. No one is stealing anything.

@KeithMoore514 @TerryMKage @MrAndyNgo And the problem with throwing dozens of kids out of class? Where will they go? There is only so much space for In-School Suspension. If they get sent home, how do they learn? Plus, schools are required to keep students IN school IN class, or they are financially penalized.

@KeithMoore514 @TerryMKage @MrAndyNgo Teacher here — if we don’t confiscate phones, nearly every student would be removed from class. Telling them not to take their phones out doesn’t work. They are addicted. Students in my school surrender their phones as they walk in and get them back as they walk out.
