We are deeply honoured to collaborate with the Tagin Cultural Society (TCS) in this meaningful initiative aimed at documenting, preserving, and promoting the Traditional Systems of the Tagin community. We look forward to continuing your support 🙏

At Daporijo today, inaugurated the TCS Secretariat Building-cum-Tagin Heritage Centre and also attended the first ever Tagin Seminar on 'Traditional System of Tagin: Change And Continuity" organized by the Tagin Cultural Society in collaboration with the Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture (VKIC). Apart from documenting the traditional chanting of the priests, we need to translate it into simple language for the younger generations to understand in order to keep our shamanism alive. We must respect every religion and without critisizing any other beliefs, there should no be any harm in protecting our own indigenous cultures and practices. I commend the Tagin Cultural Society for its dedication to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Tagin community, fostering awareness, education, and unity among the people. The Society’s tireless efforts in safeguarding the Tagin language, customs, and traditions is laudable and will continue to inspire and strengthen Arunachal Pradesh’s diverse cultural tapestry. Also present on the occasion were Hon'ble Minister of Industry, Commerce, Labor & Employment, and IPR, Shri Nyato Dukam; Hon'ble MLAs Shri Tanya Soki; Shri Nakap Nalo; Shri Rode Bui, and members of TCS & VKIC.
