Our Innovate Project team are excitedly making their way to London for our conference on #innovation & #extrafamilialharm. If you weren’t able to book, take a look at our webinars, papers & resources theinnovateproject.co.uk/resources/! 1/4
English

@InnovateProj the issue of trauma informed practice has to be consistently understood and applied across all disciplines- rather than the disparate approaches currently used across police / Health/ social care

@EffectivePrac @NIHRresearch Reminded me about a conversation with a student - “a cup of tea is not just a cup of tea “

Initial messages from @NIHRresearch on meeting needs of people living alone with dementia & without informal support-have a pathway so they don’t get forgotten by #socialcare & support them to put in a sustainable network for backup #dementia #LAwD livingalonewithdementia.co.uk

English

Thrilled to have been asked to speak to SW students @UniOfSussex. Partly because I graduated from Sussex with my MSW 30 yrs ago👩🏻🎓. But mainly because my son is a 2nd yr Sussex student & this finally (surely!) gives me a chance to look cool! 👌😎

🤣 Do you remember this adorable video from a few years ago featuring @ComedianDJPryor "chatting" with his son? It’s one of our favorites because it is a great example of a serve & return interaction.

@James_r_bury I heard him a few weeks ago and for me the issue is who provides support , 30 years as a sw it would have been an expected element of my role- these days I’m not sure if sw are confident in that role even if they had the time

Fascinating presentation by Dr Barry Coughlan covering children's referrals to camhs at #cbhealth23.

@jaCattell @davidthep Rcgp is a lovely venue ( next to Euston) and possibly ncvo( but that may be a squeeze
English

I need a conference venue with:
* with 1 big room which seats 100 people,
* 3 breakout rooms which can hold 20 people,
* movable chairs and no other furniture,
* rock solid wifi / wired internet.
Preferably in London.

@KirstyLewin been cycling around Toulouse this last week and would recommend it - the danger is stopping for the great lunches

English

@DavidJ_Brindle Very depressing reading as lots of statements and little in the way of action from any . The big question is whether this will change in the next decade
English

Had a stab at rating all the health (& social care) secs of past 20 yrs for what they did for #socialcare - no one shines, but maybe a surprise or two
