Apple doesn’t want to send me a Design Award this year, so I’m making it myself. I don’t even like their award cube, so I’m crafting a 3D metal app icon with my design and milestone info on the back at a local metal manufacturing company

Yesterday I got inspired to design a wrapper for a Shu Pu-erh cake for my friends at Gaba House Bali 🌿 I wanted to bring a sense of belonging to Bali — so I featured the sacred Mount Agung, Mount Batur, the iconic Candi Bentar gates, floating mountains, and clouds.

Of course I’m adding Liquid Glass effect and iOS26 support for all our apps. Looks fantastic

I tried the new Icon Composer app from Apple, which helps create iOS 26-style icons with a glass effect, perfect sizing, and nice gradient colors. However, its features are limited compared to Figma, so I still use Figma for all my creative work.

Exploring how our apps will look on iOS 26 is interesting with new window-styled apps, resembling a macOS experience. However, it's not useful - you can't resize them or use multiple apps simultaneously 😢
