Quality or Quantity? I am running a 15-day public experiment in the @framer marketplace to find out. Some creators win by shipping volume. I am testing the opposite: taking one high-end template and building it into a complete, multi-page package. If depth doesn't move the needle, I go back to volume. For the next 15 days, I will overhaul my premium Visia template. The scope: • Expand a 1-page layout into a full multi-page package • Restructure homepage flow for higher conversion • Redefine the packaging and messaging • Build a global CMS customization system The stakes: I post a daily report. If I skip a day, I fail the entire experiment. Does one complete, fully-featured template beat ten average ones? Follow along, and let's find out. Day 0/15. The clock starts now. #FramerChallenge

Day 4/15 of my quality vs quantity experiment Didn't do much today, but still showed up. Rebuilt the Clients section, removed the logo ticker, and replaced it with a clean static row. Added the ticker originally because it looked cool, not because it made sense. Sometimes the designer's eye works against you. Tomorrow: starting the Work section redesign in @framer. #buildinpublic

@shekhartanmay06 Can’t agree more with you! Sometimes the simplest thing is the best thing. Glad it resonated with you too 🙌

@vladtrodesign Using a clean static row is actually so cool, I feel like we only see tickers nowadays. They have their place for sure but sometimes the static version works much better.

@CristianMielu Totally agree with you! CMS can’t be an afterthought and making a template easy to manage is the single most important thing we can do imo

The client can't manage their own site, not because of the design, not because of the code, but because the CMS was an afterthought. This is the CMS structure from my upcoming template, still WIP, but this is the level of thinking that goes into it before a single page is designed. @framer's CMS 3.0 makes this so much easier to reason about: inline editing, bulk actions, folders, proper filtering. Every collection: one job. Every field: a name that means something.

@vladtrodesign This quote perfectly explains why brands like Apple are still top of the food chain in terms of aesthetics that's what I had to communicate to my clients everytime when I was into brand design 😂 But they just loved Clipart and comic sans a bit too much😭😭😭

Day 3/15 of my quality vs quantity experiment Spent the whole day on the full screen navbar and finally got it done. Carefully crafted an appear effect for each element so it feels intentional, not just functional. What took the longest was thinking about how the buyer will actually edit this. Nav links now update simultaneously in the footer. Never thought that deep about the buyer experience before, but I think that's what separates a good template from a great one. Tomorrow: starting the Work section redesign in @framer. #buildinpublic

@elluchidalu Yes, I totally get you. It’s so easy to go overboard, but less is more approach usually wins. I recently learned this awesome quote “Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away”. Appreciate your feedback bro :)

@vladtrodesign Yeah, sometimes static is the best. I once did this project and went completely overboard with animations and "moving parts", I had a ticker, a horizontal scroll on one section, etc. I completed it and something didn't just feel right, until I made these same changes Good work👍

50 followers 🎉 Might be small to some, but huge for me—just one month in, and it’s mostly people I genuinely interact with and admire. Exciting things ahead, stay tuned. Logo: @floraai | Animation: @framer shaders

@elluchidalu Thanks a lot man! I'm really happy to hear that. Usually, people use Screen Studio for such recordings, but it's only available on MacOS. Since I have Windows, I found a great alternative: Canvid. I've tested many screen recordings and stopped at Canvid. It is really good.

Already working on a new template also. I’ve got one goal — hit $2.5k/month from templates before year end. How achievable is that?

@elluchidalu But tbh 15 days is still not easy for me. I just set this up to force myself out of my comfort zone so I finally ship things faster! If I fail, I fail, and I'll share exactly why. Just trying to break out of my own perfectionism 😅

Man, that is a huge compliment, thank you so much! 🙏 I should clarify though, I'm not building this from absolute scratch. I already had the base template built, so this 15-day sprint is strictly for overhauling the structure, adding pages, and dialing in these crazy details. If it was from scratch, there is NO way I'd finish in time! 😅

I've rarely seen any @framer creator do a video launch for their template, you think it's worth it spending more time and animating the pages in after effects for promo on X and Contra?

Sometimes you'll get a messy copy and there's nothing you can do about it, that's your job to make the best of what little you have. Instead of going back and forth with the client, Challenge yourself to turn something messy to an organized, easy to read, ready to ship product
