I like jill despite being underutilised. She reminds me of tifa where her soft & vulnerable nature contrasts her prowess of being a dominant. Someone who is just emotionally worn down by war, death, enslavement & just wants a normal life. They should’ve portrayed this better

@vmohv I’d say it’s a wider issue with a lot of the main characters in 16 just barely getting enough or not enough at all because this is so Clive centric that other characters suffer for it.

@PeriwinkleTMTM the game constantly coming up with excuses for jill to stay behind during main story quests is incredibly funny as it is depressing because they really do not care about writing anyone outside of clive its nasty

@MoreLimitless thats the problem for me, this scene is beautiful and all but i cant bring myself to care for it all that much because i have 0 investment in jill as a character.

@vmohv I think they do a decent job with her character up until after Ironholm. It’s not even that she’s a bad character, but after that point, the game just sidelines her up until this great scene between the two that pretty much closes her entire arc.

@exe_files_ this is what happens when you write a story that hyper focuses on the mc, you end up having to throw away the side cast just for him, fair enough clives character is amazing but ffs theres better ways to do this man

@vmohv Pissed me off when they just decided to make her a damsel in distress like 3 times after her most notable moment, or just any other excuse to keep her out of the narrative. I’d get it if she was normal but no she’s a whole ass dominant
