@clddayss @voiceslune @kauljade They didn’t say straight story are better than gay story, they said they dgaf about men stories (which implies all men story in general) and they favor story with female protagonist especially one with queer women. You guys are dead ass putting words in their mouth

i'm literally a lesbian??? and read mainly wlw books so jokes on you, i will lol
SOUŔE GREEN APPLE 🍏@kanekandy423759
Read only wlw then. Oh right you can't bc you're a homophobic liar that doesn't completely find straight men insufferable in the slightest
English

@ms_fairybomb i actually had someone reply those exact words to me which is what prompted my tweet😭 i do agree everyone is entitled to their preferences but imagine how crazy it is to call lesbians homophobic for not wanting to read male-centered stories
English

i don't think anyone's media consumption says anything abt that, ppl enjoy what they love, ignores what they don't it's simply "personal preference" the fine line between them is u need to accept ppl won't always like what u do.
anne✰@voiceslune
is it obnoxious and homophobic of me that i don't give a fuck about men?🥺 and want to read women-centered stories?
English

@voiceslune but if someone is a gay man that just like to read abt men, wouldnt it also just be a matter of preference? anyway, idc if someone even prefer straight stories over queer stories, my issue is on the phrasing of the tweet, thats it
English

How many books on my favorites shelf have you read and which is your favorite?
Except mine cycled through lots of books

How many books on my favourites shelf have you read and which is your favourite? Bonus points for; lady’s knight, the princess knight or roll for love!!
English

@clddayss imo yes because women, especially queer women, are always sidelined in media in the first place so everyone is allowed their preferences but i will always look down on people who refuse to read wlw because there are no men in those stories, which a lot of people already do
English

@voiceslune thats understandable, and i doubt the op had malicious intent but if say they had put it “mlm>mlw>>wlw”, it would have still come across very off putting
English

@triviahanni it really makes me feel happy that she enjoying my recommendation and having a fun time in a language she's not used to read in
English

@voiceslune @kauljade yall are the one acting dense because no one gaf abt your preference. the issue is saying straight stories better than gay stories is just fucking obnoxious and homophobic especially quoting someone that says they prefer queer stories overall like???
