I’m getting older, but I’m not old yet. Losing speed is a still a choice and I’ve been making it for too long.
Went to work.
Y’all can call me Celine Dion because it’s all coming back.
I’m not ready for 12.5° senior flex (yet).
🚨🗣️🚫 NOT NECESSARY — Suspended PGA Tour star Wesley Bryan reveals that after Brooks Koepka was permitted to return, his wife sent a detailed and thoughtful letter to the Tour, but the response they received was that “no conversation is necessary.”
Bryan remains suspended for participating in a LIV / YouTube influencer event.
➡️ Is it time to free Wesley?

Here’s the full letter LPGA commissioner Craig Kessler sent out to players addressing what happened on Sunday at the TOC:
LPGA Athletes,
When I joined the LPGA last July, I said trust would be our highest priority — with all of you, partners, fans, staff and media. This weekend at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, that trust was tested.
I made the decision to limit the event to 54 holes, worried that our athletes might be injured given the way record overnight low temperatures hardened the course. While the decision was a tough one and ran counter to prior statements we shared, I made a judgement call. With the benefit of hindsight, there were clearly other ways we should have managed the situation.
I recognize this decision, and others we made in real time, were confusing and disappointing to our fans. And our communication around the decision wasn’t clear or timely enough. Your frustration is valid — I own that, and I’m sorry. We are already taking steps to improve:
•Establishing clearer principles for play decisions in challenging situations, including strengthening weekly contingency planning
•Communicating faster, more clearly, and with better real-time information.
Our thanks to the staff at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club who did great work to make sure the course was prepared and our partners at Hilton Grand Vacations who pulled out all the stops to celebrate great golf with their guests.
This is a special Tour with an incredible future ahead. We won’t be perfect, but we will be accountable, learn quickly, and keep earning your trust.
Respectfully,
Craig Kessler, LPGA Commissioner
(More to come …)
Home now and reflecting on a truly disappointing day covering golf. This statement, posted well after play concluded, only added to the confusion.
The tour never gave a good explanation for why play didn’t resume for LPGA players prior to 2:15. Nor was there a good explanation for they couldn’t play on Monday when temperatures climb into the 50s.
This statement makes it sound like the weather forced them to shift. The forecast was spot on. No surprises. Yet the tour clearly didn’t know how to respond. (The 10 a.m. initial restart was the first mistake. Sending out celebs at that point was the second.)
This statement also says the tour will learn from this and do better but never acknowledges what went wrong.
In many ways, today felt like the Solheim debacle. Hours went by with no answers. No rules officials or tour leaders ever came to meet with the media. Confusion ruled the day, and ultimately, fans missed out on what could’ve been must-see golf from the world’s best.
Such a shame.
"I’m gutted that we don’t get to play tomorrow." – Lydia Ko
The forecast tomorrow isn't great, but it's better than today! The LPGA doesn't play again until Feb. 19 in Thailand.
Nelly Korda won't hit a shot on TV today (barring the miraculous from Amy Yang). Fans won't see her again until mid-March.
There's a lot I don't understand.
@NoLayingUp I played in colder temps and higher winds just a couple if weeks ago in senior event at Championsgate abd then in St. Augustine. The scorers reflected it. But it was playable.
My great friend Zeb Patten has written an amazing book about our great game. Any parent with a kid involved or wanting them involved in Golf should read this.
Doctor Bob Rotella thought enough of it to write a foreword for it. Here’s the link if you are interested! amzn.to/3MoMTJt
