I wrote an article depicting how we can create a language that allow us to see and understand the hidden representations of artifitial neural networks. Check out it here: medium.com/deelvin-machin…

@_pxlpshr @francolli @vnderworld @ComfyUI Great job. I am highly surprised that someone still using this tool. I was pretty sure it is dead when open-weight video models started to emerge, with the quality way above this tool allowed to produce. But probably the weirdness of it was actually the feature and not the bug.

The Medium seems to be completely dead. So I had to move everything to my own website, that is for now hosted on Github pages: volotat.github.io First time learned about HUGO and was extremely surprised how easy it is now to create powerful static websites.

While stuff like this is happening in the US, its government is nothing better than the Russian one. The only difference is one can go much further down on its way as people have no guns on their hands or any other way to really influence the government.

A former TOR operator is in and out of jail. His wife has been posting footage of the Marshalls coming to the house and messing with them and their dog. I read the whole court transcript, pls never put me in a situation where I need to be talking about Linux VMs in court...

What if I told you that a vast amount of the computation that goes into training every new Large Language Model is completely redundant and could be easily reused?

I have been thinking about it for months and finally was able to find the right words this evening. I really hope this message will be noticed and taken seriously by the ML community. If put into place, this might make AI much more accessible to everybody. @AlexeyBorsky/there-is-an-easy-way-to-dramatically-reduce-the-resources-we-spend-to-train-llms-c46b93562319" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@AlexeyBorsky/…

There should be an international “Back-up Day”, so everybody could take a day off to do you already guessed what.

Usually dressed as “safety” bs, the censorship will not work if the model is trainable on the fly. Quite a funny dilemma. Allow the user to shape their AI to whatever they want or be left behind.

Looking at the latest presentation from OpenAI, I can conclude there will be no groundbreaking advances in AI without proper and reliable online learning. And with online learning big tech will no longer have so much control over the AI as they have it right now.

Grok 4 is still state-of-the-art on ARC-AGI-2 among frontier models. 15.9% for Grok 4 vs 9.9% for GPT-5.

It is the middle of 2025, and no major AI players have figured out production‑ready online learning for transformer‑based models. Quite a big disappointment.

@arcprize Is this still the same algo they were talking about on MLST or something new?

@TansuYegen While this is cool and all, but I would rather see more effort put into automation of personal food growing systems that also last. Imagine if you can set up a system like this in your garden for a fair price and then be able to harvest strawberries for the rest of your life.
