⚡ We’re Hiring: Infrastructure Engineer ⚡
Voltage is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who is excited about building the future of global payments on Bitcoin and the Lightning Network.
We’re a startup working on infrastructure that helps companies scale Lightning payments reliably and efficiently.
As adoption grows, we need someone who enjoys solving hard infrastructure challenges while keeping security, resilience, and risk management at the core of everything they build.
This role is ideal for someone who:

- Enjoys designing and maintaining high-availability systems
- Thinks deeply about performance, reliability, security, and operational risk
- Wants to work on technology that is changing how money moves globally
What you’ll work on:
- Scaling and maintaining Kubernetes-based infrastructure
- Designing and operating high-performance, scalable postgres databases
- Building systems that emphasize security, reliability, and fault tolerance
- Supporting infrastructure that powers Lightning Network payments
- Implementing infrastructure security best practices, monitoring, and observability
- Identifying and mitigating operational and infrastructure risks as we scale
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Experience scaling and operating postgres databases in production environments
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems
- Experience with infrastructure automation, monitoring, and security practices
- A mindset focused on risk management, system hardening, and operational resilience
- Curiosity about Bitcoin and the Lightning Network (experience is a bonus but not required)
