It's honestly astounding how even in a closed room by oneself CO2 levels will waddle upwards from above the base 400-ish ppm to 800 ppm in a matter of hours. Welcome to cognitive impairment territory, or the importance of air exchange in indoor settings.

@hyrulian @vooshy I believe I've read about it being used with an Apple II as well. In 1986 the PC hadn't fully killed off the other platforms yet so Philips was probably hedging their bets supporting multiple systems. It did help influence ISO9660 so it would make sense if MSCDEX was as well.

I managed to get my hands on something I never thought I could. This is a Philips CM-100, the first CD-ROM drive commercially available!
