Mayor Taylor has issued his second veto in 3 months. This time with a direct assault on democracy by vetoing council resolution to have Ann Arbor voters decide on non partisan elections. Ann Arbor deserves better leadership!

@a2karen I agree, it would be a mistake to dismiss qualified volunteers from our valuable boards and commissions. My aim is to allow for everyone in our community a chance to serve & not calling for removals or dismissals.

A small victory occurred last night @ city council for folks who haven’t been able to finish there yard cleanup this fall, per my request the city administrator has extended leaf pick up for 2 more weeks! The last day for leaf collections this year will be Dec. 21.
