making a very vulnerable post here. i fainted on stream tonight. i have suffered from an eating disorder since i was 11, and i have been sent into the worst relapse of my life after being SA’d and suffering an incredibly traumatic breakup with my assaulter. i have lost 25 lbs in the past two months and i stopped getting my period. today was a big wakeup call for me. i am committing to recovery starting now. i know how eating disorders work, and i know that me just saying, “reach out if you are struggling” is meaningless to those going through it. i am lucky that my wakeup call wasn’t lethal. so, what i will say instead is to not let your wakeup call come too late. anorexia is responsible for 10,000 deaths annually, and i promise that it is scarily easy to get to that point without realizing it. the national eating disorder association has a ton of resources for those struggling. please let this be your sign to get help.

the thing that sucks abt the internet is 90% of people don’t have true opinions. they just say the popular opinion on wtv side of the internet they are on
