@RueNahcMohr Do you think those "lockable" tweezers could come in handy for some tasks? Maybe not for SMD soldering, but maybe holding a part in place while soldering a wire to it? But maybe helping hands with an alligator clip is better for that.

@MarcoReps I know some products have the "not available in your country" label but that's normally stated before you buy. in my case the "German" price from the "official" distri was 5x the mousers one so I just bought it from another US vendor that just shipped it without asking :)

@vpme_de Yes, the Dear Marco Reps, email is actually from mouser and it arrived after a few hours of "Our customer support is reviewing your order". I am almost curious enough to call and try to find out what the problem is, there are some rumors in forums and reddit ...

Has this RoHS bs become a lot stricter recently? Or did I always pick lucky compliant parts by accident? Parts imports for repairs of my pre-RoHS equipment should be exempt anyway😑

@MarcoReps @PCBWayOfficial @SGirl0311 After all the effort you went through to cut the ferrite ring for the little bee, you might be amused to see the production setup. A harbor freight mini chop saw mounted backwards with a diamond blade. Some 3d printed parts and a squirt bottle of water to keep the dust down.

New Eurorack module has arrived. The legendary Euclidean Circles from @vpme_de This is an important module for me because it completes phase 1 of my Eurorack journey which began all the way back during Covid lockdowns.

Made a wee GPIB Tester for myself just to make it easier to diagnose interface issues. Hi (green) & Lo (red) LEDs for D1-D8, REN, EOI, DAV, NDAC, IRC, SRQ, ATN & NRFD. Can be inserted anywhere in the cabling. PP3 battery required. @TheDefpom one on my way to you, saw you had purchased a GPIB tester recently.

@FallingDj Eloquencer is stated as 160mA on +12V, that's not that power hungry, Doepfer Monster has 4A, so you could put 20 of them

@vpme_de Thank you soooo much 🙏❤️🙏❤️. I saw two channel models before but 3 channels will be amazing. Do you know if there is ANY oscilloscope on the market now (doesn’t matter if it’s digital) that can quasi-replicate the Tektronix 760 (or 760n or 740)? These are hard to find.

@FallingDj you can use most scopes in XY mode, actually older analog scopes might be better for that since the trace is continuous and does not depend on the sampling of the scope. my digital scopes are 25ys old and the XY mode is not good, I don't know how well modern scopes do that...

@vpme_de Oh, one more question. I’ve always used a home brewed modified ATX power supply as my bench power supply. But I’d like to get a decent proper power supply. Do you recommend a certain model?

Next wee project, using the R6581 DMM TFT driver board I made as a prototype on what I hope will be a successful HP3457A TFT LCD conversion. Using a 3.71" 240x960 pixel TFT LCD (display area = 91.44x22.8mm).
