I saved every voice message from him that he left me. I still cannot comprehend why a master actor like him would even give me the time of day. Yet his words to me instilled so much confidence. He was the real deal. Getting to spend time with him while the camera was rolling and when we were just chatting about acting, steak and horses will never leave my memory. A truly loved actor. I will miss him but always be inspired by him.

Things get broken. They just do. Some can be fixed. Most cannot. Broken things can be partially mended. Sure. Carful that once seemingly fixed you are not just seeing what you want to see and not the fact that this thing is not unbroken. Not fixed at all. It just appears that way to you. You who can't bare the fact that you may have to mourn that which is unfortunately simply broken. It's hard to lose something forever. Even if it contributes nothing more. It is broken and unfixable. And whatever you do don't try and replace it with another thing that seems exactly like the last one that didn't last. Move on to something different. Enlightenment i believe it's called.

Fame has never been my capture. First of all i don't have much fame. Just my work to show. That's all thats come with my career. Secondly the little i might have I have ignored. Some say as a detriment to my career. Maybe but it suits my personality type. Self care is something i am focused on these days almost as much as my care for family. I do like the applause after a show or when people approach me in person to express their enjoyment of something i've done. It is only because in film or TV the audience doesn't get to give applause if they want to. So in person is their only chance to give that applause. On stage we bow to the audience graciously. So in person i receive them graciously. Greg Hines taught me that when we were younger. In short there is no reason to relinquish fame for it has never had a hold on me. We are joined already my friend. As much as anyone is.

It's new day for me. I'm hoping it lasts as long as i do. I am strong enough to take it all the way. Nothing else to live for except happiness. I will keep that nourished. Keep it alive. Through thick and then. Treating everyone equally always. No matter their beliefs. My rule, don't hurt yourself and don't hurt others. Believe what you want. Use it as a crutch. Humans always have. Why not. If it keeps you on your feet then you are onto something. Happiness is what's important to me. And all of you. All of you. It's a new day again. Again and again. Smile at your neighbor. Expect nothing in return. Happiness, nothing else to live for. Everybody hurts.
