@MarkLyck @lingodotdev Yes, you don’t need to change your current setup! Since you already have localization files, you can just add the Lingo.dev CLI to automate the translations and plug it right into your CI/CD process.

@lingodotdev does lingo.dev work for NextJS without using language routes? 99% of users are English, and I don't want them to have to deal with /en in routes.
Currently I use next-intl and it works totally fine without language routes and automatically picks the browser lang for new users. But lingo.dev looks pretty interesting if it can do the same?

This was by far the best project in the recently concluded hackathon we had at @lingodotdev
This app:
- transforms blog posts into multilingual podcast audio files
- you just need to paste a blog URL, and
- the application will scrape the content,
- generate chapters,
- translate them into multiple languages, and
- create high-quality audio files for each language.
Impressed me the most!

Perfect translation is subjective. @lingodotdev cofounder @vrcprl explains how a single word like “space” can mean wildly different things depending on context, and why great translation isn’t about perfection, but understanding what “perfect” means.
Lingo.dev is using AI to make every product multilingual—so teams “just keep shipping” and don’t have to worry about localization and translations at scale.

Write once. Ship in any language.
That’s what @lingodotdev makes possible — automated localization that runs as you ship.
On High Bit, @brettdg talks with cofounders @MaxPrilutskiy (CEO) & @vrcprl (CPO) about how they’re turning localization from a bottleneck into a build-time layer.

It's one thing to use AI tools. But how can you customize them to work best for *your* team?

> Europe can't use airconditioning properly
Meanwhile, the rest of the world:

@levelsio@levelsio
Europe is burning in a 🔥 heatwave right now But the media tells people NOT to install airconditioning “We now see that people would like an air conditioning,” Van Esch says. She's not a fan of that, “because air conditioners make the problem worse. The air conditioning emits the heat out and then it only gets warmer."
