𝐀𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐓 𝐁𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃 – 𝟔 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃 On credible information, the sleuths of the Commissioner’s Task Force, Khairtabad Zone Team, Hyderabad, in coordination with the Food Safety Officer (FSO) B. Sahithi, GHMC Circle No. 40, Kavadiguda, conducted a surprise inspection near Ganj Bazar, Mahankali Temple, Secunderabad, under the limits of Mahankali Police Station. During the operation, six (06) wholesale and retail establishments were inspected, leading to the apprehension of six (06) individuals identified as Jaipal Singh Rajpurohit, Kolariya Vaibhav, Naresh Kolariya, Prem Anil Vyas, Ram Kishore Kolariya, and Laxmi Narayana Kolariya. During the inspection, it was found that the establishments were allegedly engaged in procuring and selling adulterated and unhygienic paneer and other dairy products sourced from unknown origins. The products were being sold in bulk quantities to catering services, hotels, and customers at approximately Rs. 280 per kg, falsely projecting them as quality paneer. The inspection revealed that the paneer and other dairy items were stored in open plastic covers, exposed to dust, flies, and contaminants, making them unsafe for human consumption. Further, the seized products lacked proper labeling, including brand name, manufacturing date, expiry date, and pest control records, indicating serious violations of food safety standards. A total of 3,892 kgs of dairy products, including paneer, khoa, white cream, ghee, and kalakand, worth approximately Rs. 11,11,600/- were seized. The accused persons, along with the seized material, were handed over to the Station House Officer, Mahankali Police Station, for further legal action. The operation was carried out under the supervision of P. Raghavender, Inspector of Police, Khairtabad Zone Task Force, along with SI G. Srikanth, staff of Mahankali Police Station, and Task Force personnel.
