With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film. Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly. He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more than that. A life well lived.

Just had a group member say that she "tried to listen," but medication instructions were given just after she came out of sedation, & she could not recall them when she got home. Others have trouble w/ medical jargon, too. #PatientChat

Yes! It's not easy for patients to relay their stories. There should be tools for them to help them communicate with their providers. #patientchat @S4PM

T3: Dismissal of your concerns. Not writing things down, so that when you ask for a specific consult they ask you to come in for another office visit (happened to my husband recently). #patientchat
