The difference between Malayalam and Hindi #Drishyam3 Detailed*** #Drishyam (2013) is a record grosser – something that the #AjayDevgn's Hindi remake will never achieve or any other thriller has achieved in Indian cinema before. The impact is never-seen-before because Thriller is usually considered as a niche genre and doens't even get a place in top 10 grossers and Drishyam shattered all taboos by becoming an industry hit. Then came, #Drishyam2 had an immense potential but the pandemic struck and it went to OTT. That helped the Hindi remake grow stronger and it emerged as a blockbuster with collections of Rs. 231 crore nett – now this is something the Malayalam film will never achieve because of its industry size. Malayalam D3 is limited to its regional industry and one State - Kerala, whereas the Hindi industry consists of larger section, more screens across 15+ States.
