Sporting our jerseys, Von Spoken Word team won 1st place in the 2026 Rooted & Radical Team Finals Sunday at the Ramova Theatre in Bridgeport. They competed against poetry teams from Walter Payton, Kenwood Academy, and St. Charles North, taking home the trophy! Go Panthers!

Building out a double barrel bullpen from a single is not light work, but we love hard work so we get stuff done. GO PANTHERS!

This week’s Senior Spotlight is pitcher Isaiah Davalos #5. Isaiah has demonstrated himself to be a true leader on and off the field. He is a link crew member in school and leads our pitching on the field. He will attend college in the fall and study Engineering. Go Panthers!

Field Maintenance don’t have to be boring! We challenged the players raking geese droppings in the outfield grass that whoever had the lightest garbage bag of poop would have to do pushups at the end of practice. The competition got intense and the stakes were high!

Championship Friday Day 5. Points are double making comebacks in the standings possible. Events: 1. Volleyball- special rule ball can bounce one time. 2. The Scorpion- Mano a Mano- Who can drop the other maintaining a push-up position. Championship Cup presentation next!

Day 4 of the Omaha Challenge: 1. 25 question trivia. Most correct answers win. 2. Kickball- Each team 4 chances to hit, most runs wins.

Speed and agilities with one of the best to ever do it, Coach Ed Toledo, has brought a lot to our program. It’s still a work in progress but we have improved so much over the winter. 🐾⚾️ 🏃🏻‍♂️💨
